Aircon Cleaning – Terms and Conditions

1. General Conditions for Cleaning of Air Conditioners

Neo Clean cannot be held responsible for any pre-existing conditions not visible during visual inspection.

Cancellations made less than 24 hours before an appointment will attract a $100 + GST fee.

These conditions may include, but are not limited to:

  • Lack of access to aircon units

  • Faulty remotes, batteries, PCBs, or louvers

  • Brittle or damaged components due to poor maintenance

  • Units older than 7 years are at increased risk during service; Neo Clean assumes no liability for age-related failures

  • Existing leaks, pump failure, or electrical issues

  • Risks involving wall-mounted TVs placed directly below air conditioning units

  • Structural faults with unit installation or mounting

Workmanship issues must be reported within 5 business days of service for review and rectification.

2. Terms of Payment

  • As per quotation provided

  • Variations not quoted may incur additional charges

  • Invoice queries must be raised within 7 days

  • Payment is due within 7 days (residential) or 14 days (commercial)

  • EFT preferred. Late payments may incur delays in future service or penalties

3. Late Payment Policy

Residential Clients:

  • Late fee of $30 + GST applies if payment exceeds 7 days

Commercial Clients:

  • Late fee applies after 14 days

Unpaid invoices beyond terms may result in collection efforts and legal recovery at the client’s cost.

4. Mould Treatment Service Disclaimer

Neo Clean’s mould treatments are effective up to 12 months only if:

  • The client eliminates the moisture source (leaks, poor ventilation, rising damp)

  • Proof of moisture correction is shown if warranty claims are made

5. Risk and Warranty Limitations

Neo Clean is not responsible for:

  • Underlying faults unrelated to cleaning

  • Electrical failure, cracked panels, aged plastic covers

  • Post-clean leaks from deteriorated pipes or pumps

Clients accept that servicing older units carries inherent risks.
